Waiting On A Change

"psst!" beth stared at will, pointing towards terrys room, and whispered, "keep him occupied, I need to grab some spare diapers before he leaks!"

Will peered at her behind his green lenses, "what makes you think he won't go running off again, you know he likes being wet," he chuckled.

"well... think of something. I don't think I'm up for chasing a drippy toddler again today." she countered, snickering as she said it, and letting will know she was trying to be funny.

"alright, I'll see what I can do..." will said and hobbled off towards the sound of crinkling down the hall.

Two minutes later found a waddling beth checking both the boys rooms and finding them both empty. Her ears twitched... was that voices down the hall? or rather A voice?

She peeked into her own room and found the two sprawled out across her bed. will, reading from one of his many sherlock holmes books, and terry, listening wide eyed to his big brother. He stopped mid sentence, and looked up at beth, "I hope you brought several of those. he's drenched, I'm nearly there myself, and judging by those droopy shorts, so are you."

Beth blushed but let out a chuckle and tossed one of the diapers she was carrying at will. He took it full to the face and pantomimed being flung backwards, "avast, i'm hit!"

At this point terry sat upright and shrieked "Issa Traps!"

Upon which time, everything devolved into a small wrestling match, a cloud of baby powder and a tussle of blankets. Several someones ended up with much thicker padded rears, and one of them possibly a diaper hat.
